Name:
Ebonyfang
Gender:
Tom
Age:
25 moons
Clan:
FrozenClan
Position:
Warrior
Personality:
Ebonyfang has a strong-willed personality. He is quite loyal to his clan and to his leader. If anything threatens what he loves most, Ebonyfang will do whatever it takes to make sure no harm comes to his clan. He loves to go to Gatherings and chat with the other clans, especially the cats of Riverclan and Thunderclan. He dislikes all shadowclan cats for good reason but if need be he will help them out. Ebonyfang takes some getting used to. He shies away from others sometimes and feels uncomfortable giving orders. Whenever he needs to decide what to do for the clan, such as hunting parties or patrols, he often stutters, afraid he will make the wrong decision and the clan will have to pay for his mistake. He hates watching his clan suffer, especially in bare-leaf. He also can’t stand watching one of his own die and in battle he will try as hard as he can to protect his friends from being killed. But, unfortunately, that can sometimes not be helped. Ebonyfang enjoys walking with his leader to moonstone and awaits his chance to become leader eagerly. He will learn from his own leader what it takes and when the time comes; Ebonyfang will rise up and lead Windclan. However, he does await this day but he also mourns it. He is close to his leader and hates the thought of watching him die. Ebonyfang, though strong and smart, is soft inside and has a delicate heart. It has shattered once and he would never want it to happen again.
History:
Ebonyfang was born to a kittypet mother. His father was a huge warrior for Frozenclan at the time when he had met Ebonyfang’s mother. He had fallen in love with the she-cat and was soon sneaking off from hunting duty and patrol just to catch a glimpse at her in her two-leg place. Ebonyfang’s parents loved each other more than anything else in the entire world. Unfortunately, they could never be together. His mother was too attached to her two-leg place to leave and was very fearful of the forest. Ebonyfang’s father understood her fear but it pained him to always go and leave his mate alone. One day, when Ebonyfang’s father returned to the two-leg place, his mother was crying. She told his father that her two-legs were moving far, far away. To a place called the city. She handed over Ebonyfang to his father to be raised in the clan. She said that she wanted their son to grow into such a fine warrior as his father. That night, the two of them spent one last time together. By morning, Ebonyfang’s mother was called by her two-legs and she was forced away from her lover and her kit. Ebonyfang was on a journey that Starclan has granted upon him. When Ebonyfang’s father returned to the Windclan camp with his son dangling in his mouth, he was shunned by the other warriors for breeding with a kittypet. The leader of Frozenclan, however, allowed the kit to stay. Ebonyfang was taken to the nursery and given to a nursing queen. She took very good care of Ebonyfang as he grew. Within just 2 moons the queen was frantic over the little kit. He had gone out during leaf-fall and was nowhere to be seen. Ebonyfang heard his adopted mother meowing his name but he was too busy playing with a leaf that was fluttering over the ground, forced by the wind. Without realizing it, Ebonykit had stumbled across a badger set. The leaf blew into the tunnel and the young black kit raced after it. He pounced on the leaf as it landed upon a large black figure. Just as the kit was about to bite the leaf the black creature moved. Ebonykit suddenly realized his horrible mistake. He let out a shrill yowl of terror and closed his eyes as the badger’s claws lifted high into the air and were about to crash upon him. Suddenly, a great tom leapt onto the badger’s neck and raked at his eyes and nose. The enraged badger forgot about the terror-stricken kit and went to attack Ebonykit’s father. The tom fought with the strength of Starclan as he wrestled with the badger. Ebonykit didn’t get to see the rest of the fight for he was dragged out of the den by another warrior. The cat was about to race into the den but a shrill yowl held him back. The noise and growling ended within the den and all was quiet. A few warriors slunk into the den. When they came back, Ebonyfang’s father was in their gentle jaws. His body was shredded to pieces and his soul was now racing with Starclan. The cat was taken to the camp and all of the warriors shared tongues with the brave tom one last time. Ebonykit was broken from his father’s death. He blamed it all on himself, just like all the warriors. He heard them whispering, “That kittypet is nothing but trouble!” and “If you ask me, Coalpelt should’ve left that kit at the two-leg place with its mother!” Ebonykit was extremely broken up. He hadn’t meant to cause his father’s death. Just as he thought the entire clan had turned its back upon him, a warm pelt brushed against his. Ebonykit looked up through teary eyes. His future mentor, Emeraldleaf sat besides him. She gave him a very soft lick and whispered in his ear that all was well. It was going to be all right. That night, Ebonykit was dubbed as Ebonypaw. He was given Emeraldleaf as a mentor and learned all about the warrior code. He was filled with courage from his brave mentor and followed wherever she went. One day, Emeraldleaf and Ebonypaw were having hunting practice when a terrified warrior rushed towards them. It was a Moonclan warrior; he had bloody marks all over him. He said that Shadowclan was attacking them that the entire Riverclan camp was going to be destroyed. Without a second thought, Emeraldleaf told Ebonypaw to go back to camp and warn the others. She disappeared with the Moonclan warrior into the ferns of the forest. Stunned and a little confused, Ebonypaw raced back to camp. He yowled to the clan that Moonclan was under attack and that they needed Frozenclan’s help. The warriors and apprentices rushed into battle. Ebonypaw right behind them, leaving some warriors behind to guard the camp. Ebonypaw soon raced into battle with the shadowclan cats. He lunged at an apprentice and tackled her to the ground. With a fierce bite to the shoulder he sent the she-cat yowling into the bushes. Ebonypaw was unaware of a Poisenclan warrior stalking up on him. He turned around just in time to see the white warrior being tackled to the ground by Emeraldleaf. She tumbled over the ground with the warrior, hissing and biting at him. With a sickening yowl the warrior rushed into the forest. Ebonypaw’s pride in his mentor was short-lived as the leader of Poisenclan lunged upon Emeraldleaf. With a quick bite on her neck, Ebonypaw’s mentor lay still. Ebonypaw was enraged at the Poisenclan leader. He lunged at him and tackled the cat to the ground. The two cats tussled and rolled over and over upon the dirt. The young apprentice slashed the leader across the eye and gave him a life-long scar. The Poisenclan leader gave a hiss and went dashing into the forest. The victory was not a happy one. Emeraldleaf lay still in the grass, her body cold and lifeless and her spirit soaring with Starclan. Ebonypaw shared tongues with her back at camp and was awarded his warrior name the coming night. Ebonyfang. He was praised for driving off the Poisenclan leader but inside he felt as if he had just swallowed some mouse bile. He loved his mentor and now she was gone. Ebonyfang recovered after a few moons and was back to his old self. He trained with the other warriors and was given some of his own apprentices. One night, while the clan was sleeping soundly, a yowl pierced the silence. Awoken by the scream, Ebonyfang leapt to his feet and rushed to the center of the camp. He was startled to find his apprentice lying dead upon the ground. The murderer stood over her. It was a Poisenclan warrior. With a hiss of rage, Ebonyfang lunged at the Shadowclan warrior. The two cats were tight in battle until Ebonyfang sank his fangs into the other warrior’s chest. With a yowl of pain the warrior dashed into the forest. Ebonyfang heard a shrill caterwaul from the deputy of his clan. He was struggling upon the ground, the Poisenclan leader’s fangs buried deep into his neck. Ebonyfang watched in terror as the Poisenclan leader ripped out the deputy’s throat. This was going against the warrior code! No warrior should ever kill in cold blood! Ebonyfang snarled menacingly and lunged at the leader of Poisenclan. He tackled him and began to dig his claws into the leader’s stomach. With a snarl of rage and agony the leader wiggled free from the warrior’s grip. He wasn’t going to survive the injury however. Ebonyfang’s claws had dug straight into the Poisenclan leader’s gut and ripped open his stomach, exposing the acids to the rest of his insides. With a hiss of pain the leader told PoisenClan to retreat. He leapt out of the camp but the bloody paw prints told the Medicine Cat of Frozenclan that the leader was on his last life and would not make it to morning. Ebonyfang walked back to FrozenClan, his head held low in defeat for what he had seen. He knew that the battle had strengthened him and from then on, he refused to shed blood, unless it was absolutely necessary.
RP Example:
Ebonyfang growled lowly as the mouse slipped out of his paws. He frowned. That had been the second mouse that day that had escaped him. He glared at his paws. They still ached from almost getting crushed from the monster on the Thunderpath. He shuddered, remembering the horrible agony of feeling the monster’s paws crush upon his own. Ebonyfang needed to shape up. His clan needed him now. He crouched down and swished his inky-black tail from side to side. He spotted a large pigeon, pecking at the fallen seeds of a pine tree. Ebonyfang glided towards the bird, knowing it suspected nothing. His onyx pelt was invisible in the shadows of the trees. He bunched all of his muscles together, getting ready to spring. Suddenly there came a roar from the forest. The bird took flight and Ebonyfang glared at his stomach. He hated it when he got hungry; his stomach growling chased away all the prey. He cursed at himself for not getting something to eat from the fresh-kill pile before he left. He rolled his eyes and spotted a large rabbit not far from its den. Slowly, Ebonyfang crouched low to the ground. His paws as silent as air as they touched the ground. He winced slightly as a burning sensation began in them. Dumb monster! Why’d it have to hit him?! What had he done to it?!?! Ebonyfang’s eyes glistened as he got closer and closer to the rabbit. With a spring he tackled the creature to the ground. The rabbit let out a sickening cry as the black cat bit into its neck and killed it immediately. He smiled widely at his success. Finally! The day was finally looking well.
Appearance:
Ebonyfang has a pitch-black coat. No markings are seen at all upon his ebony colored pelt. His eyes glisten and are a fierce, golden color. When in the heat of battle his eyes change from a gentle, understanding gold to a fierce and piercing emerald color. He has sharp claws that sometimes unsheathe without his doing for it is a reflex within him that cannot be controlled. Ebonyfang has a large scar upon his belly where he was almost killed as an apprentice but he had been spared. Ebonyfang has a vicious bite for one of his fangs grew crooked and instead hooks so if he grabs flesh it is hard for even him to let go. All in all, Ebonyfang wears a gentle expression upon his coal black face. He melts when he’s near any kits for he has a soft spot that even an apprentice can see. This is a weakness within him that many other warriors take to their advantage. If they want to weaken Ebonyfang, taking kits is the way to do it.

I basically took this from my account on Moonbeam Warriors, Lunarheart. I was too lazy to make a new character so I hope Ebonyfang is good enough. If you find traces of Windclan, Thunderclan, Riverclan, or Shadowclan in the history and personality or anything, don't be suprised, just please tell me and I'll fix it ^^
